Open Air Concert from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra

The Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra held its traditional open-air summer concert in the city’s Slottsskogen Park in what has become an annual highlight for thousands of local residents and visitors alike.
The event had a special significance this year as it took place on Swedish National Day and featured the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, the national orchestra of Sweden
And the open air remains in vogue as the orchestra, led by guest conductor Tommy Andersson plays in the city’s Götaplatsen over the final weekend of the highly acclaimed Gothenburg Culture Festival.
Volvo has been a long-term sponsor of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and also supports the Gothenburg Opera, which closes the Festival with another free open-air performance, conducted by Johannes Gustavsson.
